Associations of Physical Activity With Breast Cancer Risk: Findings From the UK Biobank Prospective Cohort Study

Adopting a physically active lifestyle may confer women with reduced risk of breast cancer.

This study determined the relationship between regular exercise and the incidence of breast cancer. Researchers compared the level of physical activity with breast cancer diagnosis status of nearly 50,000 UK women. 

Data analysis revealed that physically active women had greater chances of keeping breast cancer at bay. This study pointed out the important role physical activity plays in the prevention of breast cancer.
